The Man Who Shot Muammar Gaddafi (performance)

A former intelligence officer of the DGSE reveals openly what he knows about the real causes of Muammar Gaddafi's death in October 2011. This exceptional live interview is led by political journalist Alexis Poulin.

As you can imagine, the production schedule for The Man Who Shot Muammar Gaddafi has been somewhat disrupted... But thanks to the active support of our partners, and in particular the Manège Maubeuge, where we were welcomed in early June during two effective and joyful weeks, we are almost there.

The show will premiere in Marseille on October 2nd and 3rd at the Théâtre du Gymnase as part of the Actoral festival. We are hoping to see you there!

Rollin(g) Stones (community project in Amiens, France)

Superamas will develop an artistic project - Rollin(g) Stones - over the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons.
The aim of this project is to support the inhabitants of the Pierre Rollin district in Amiens in its transformation, which will affect housing, public spaces, administrations, shops, the layout of roads and car parks, and cultural and sports facilities.
Rollin(g) Stones, built in conjunction with the Théâtre Jacques Tati, Amiens Métropole and the district's partners (artists, institutions, national education, donors, associations, etc.), is structured around three main lines of research:
OUR GROUND: what we walk on, what carries us
A work of investigation and research on the history of the soil, the history of the different periods of urbanization, the changes of populations in the neighborhood from its construction to the present day.
OUR TERRITORY: what allows us to subsist, what we are attached to
Based on the work of Bruno Latour (sociologist, philosopher), we will highlight that territory is not a physical, geographical territory, but individual and collective territories whose boundaries go beyond the boundaries of the neighbourhood - ground.
OUR FUTURE: what we can imagine, what we will do with it collectively
By questioning the rituals of transition and drawing on the lives of the inhabitants, their histories, their cultures, we will create common rituals to symbolize and perform the geographical transformation of the neighbourhood. The aim is to accompany the transformation of the land in an artistic, playful, shared and co-responsible way.

Rollin(g) Stones (projet citoyen à Amiens, France)

As part of a long-running investigation into the causes of Muammar Gaddafi's death, political journalist Alexis Poulin has gathered the exceptional testimony of a former spy from the DGSE (France’s external intelligence agency). Posted in Tripoli from 2007 to 2011, he was a first-hand observer of the unscrupulous French role in the downfall of the Libyan dictator. His revelations shed new light on one of the best-kept secrets of the French Fifth Republic....   MORE

Fast & Furious

For six months Superamas worked with four youth groups in Amiens, Maubeuge, Reykjavik and Vienna. Starting from Chekhov's famous play “Uncle Vania”, young people were led to reflect and react on issues as diverse and personal as: What does it mean to succeed in life? What is happiness? What is sadness? What are the things you regret? What is love? Young people have seized these themes to express their doubts, anger and hopes at the beginning of the 21st century.

SUPERAMAS, on the other hand, has been impertinently and ironically focused on re-contextualising some of the situations taken from Uncle Vania that portray the aging members of the artistic collective... MORE

L'homme qui tua Mouammar Kadhafi

"...Superamas manages here to pack personal stories of the young performers into 4 acts according Chekhov´s play which are loosely connected to the events at Uncle Vanja´s country side estate. Several wastelands in which the youth is dancing nowadays are made visible without the piece becoming a tearjerker. Chekhov – Fast & Furious appeals by its bite, a sophisticated dramaturgy and the tortuous performance of the adult world by the members of Superamas..."
